Responsibilities:

• Give precedence to road safety considerations when maneuvering tractor-trailers.
• Be diligent in examining the vehicle before and after trips to affirm its compliance with road safety requirements.
• Design optimized routes to improve productivity and guarantee on-time arrivals.
• Follow the stipulated rules for handling and packaging to ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods.
• Consistent communication with both dispatchers and clients plays a key role in the successful execution of deliveries.
• Maintain precise records of working hours and routine vehicle maintenance checks.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations provided by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for the protection of both workers and cargo.
• Quickly inform the relevant parties about any vehicle issues, occurrences, or transgressions to ensure adherence to regulations.

Qualifications:

• Having a valid Class A CDL is a requirement.
• Clean driving record.
• Remaining in line with DOT requirements for physical evaluations and drug screening protocols.
• Mastery in managing time effectively and coordinating tasks efficiently.
• Specialize in safely and effectively moving hefty and oversized items.
• Skilled in customer relationship building and maintaining enduring connections with clients.
• Strong dedication to safety measures and compliance with regulations, including promptly reporting incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Designed for entry-level commercial drivers, the 12-week training curriculum is structured to promote accelerated learning through a well-organized program. Participants with diverse experience levels, ranging from 3 months to over 5 years, can benefit from the training

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in managing and driving a wide range of trailer types, like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Proficient in handling double/triple consignments, intermodal freight services, and the transportation of vehicles.
• Proficiency in the transportation and care of household items and unique cargo.
